Comfort is a huge must-have for me in addition to being stylish when it comes to most things in my life. I’ve banned all my flip flops to the closet since the day my Chico’s arrived in the mail. While I was kicked back in the passenger seat of our truck on our drive to Vegas last week, I came across an advertisement for a new brand of sandals that debuted just this past Spring. I swear, every time I see a flat bottomed pair of sandals it makes my feet hurt immediately. How do women do it?!? Then, right there, I see “Memory Foam”…oh my gosh! So, I kept reading and then, of course, did some homework on them.

The brand was created by Alice Gu and Michelle Turner and are manufactured completely in Brazil. Each shoe features memory foam for comfort as well as a rubber, no-slip heel. The shoes all have a mini-wedge, so they aren’t completely flat…aka easier on the spine. The leather on the sole is said to help make them wearable all day long. As a special bonus, each shoe is adorned with a genuine 2mm sapphire to reflect the meaning of the brand’s name, which is “faithful” in Spanish. Cute, gemstones AND comfy? SOLD!

They have three styles available as part of their Fall ’09 collection and range in price from $160 – $205. From the reviews I’ve read, they’re worth every penny. They’re already working on their Spring/Summer 2010 line, focusing on gradient leather, braids, contrast stitching, ruching and perforated leathers.
